Free will and predestination are essentially two separate ideas, but free will and predestination are based on the notion of how the life of a person is determined.</p> <p>The idea of free will explains the person is able to determine the route through life based on decisions made along the way. Free will is the allowance of humans to make independent thoughts without interference. Humans have the choice to map the way through life based on free will. The terms of free will ensure individuals come to a decision based on free thought through careful consideration of the provided facts involved free will allows the person to act voluntarily without the hindrance of social constraints or religious predestined fate. The idea of free will has been posed by philosophers. Discussions of free will have been debated throughout the centuries. Free will is a given right of humans to choose without fear of fate or destiny stifling the life being led.</p> <p>The idea of predestination or predetermination explains the person is fated to the life decreed by a higher being. Choices and actions of predestination are to bring the person to a predestined salvation promised by God. Every action has been determined by God and predestination pervades history and life together to the fated salvation or damnation of the members of the human race individually. Events in a life of predestination are set out prior to the actual occurrence. Predestination ensures people follow the path to the specified course in order to reach a certain point in life. Predestination does not allow for choices to be made with events of life. The idea of things happening for a reason is part of predestination.</p> <p>When life is viewed through the ideas of free will and predestination, people can see the complexities in the concepts. Understanding free will and predestination can be difficult when determining events happening in an individual life. Free will and predestination can both be used to explain problems facing a person in life, but free will and predestination can describe the reason for happiness. Following free will or predestination is up to the individual.
