People have always looked to events and ideas of prophecy for understanding. Humans are also very curious and try to figure out a way of seeing the future and how things will turn out in life. Prophecy attempts to explain the details. Through various avenues, humans attempt to attain information about the path to take through life, from palm reading to tarot cards people will continue to look for a way to discover the events coming to pass.</p> <p>The prophecy is a way of seeing the future. Predictions of the future are part of prophecy along with the prophets who proclaim the information. The prophet will proclaim the prophecy in different ways, depending on the medium being used by the prophet. Prophecies can be detailed or vague. There are even false prophecies providing misleading information to a person looking for an answer.</p> <p>There have been numerous prophets throughout the course of history, not always predicting the future, but providing insight and ideas for the people to follow. Jesus is probably the prophet best known by people throughout the world. Moses is famous as well. Muhammad, Nostradamus, and Zoroaster are also well known prophets and religious figures. Religions have been created based on the teachings of the prophets as well. The prophecy declared by the prophets propels followers to continue to listen and find power in the words spoken by the individual.</p> <p>The religions of the world have aspects of prophecy involved in the teachings pertaining to life, death, resurrection, and the coming of messiahs. Prophecy provides followers of religion with hope and understanding. The religious prophecies are filled with messages from the god or gods of the religion and are meant to point the believers in the right direction.</p> <p>Although prophecy is prominent within religion and even outside of belief as well, people do not always come to understand or believe in prophecy. Usually in regard to the religious aspect, people do tend to follow prophecy, but in everyday activities people look skeptically at fortune tellers and psychics who might have a gift to see future events or shadows of things to come within prophecy.
